a week with lili

Her daddy went to film for a whole week, her brother went with her daddy and then to his grandparents, her sister went to her other family... lili is only with me this week! This is kind of strange for her, the third child does not get a lot of time alone with his parent. She loves to play with me , speak, walk on her proper rhythm this time. I love to take this slow and peaceful time for her, looking at her, discovering new faces of her, adapting and answering her proper needs.
In order to celebrate our spring time together (it will be 30°C today!) I sew her a little suit again with Else fabric gift. In fact I saw one perfect flowered suit in my little town, and I resisted (so bravely) in front of it. I did not buy it and promise to make one. Arrived home, I searched for an adapted pattern and found one here (free). Some researches were needed to remember how to make smocks (elastic thread in the bottom spool, enlarging the length of the sewing point and maintaining the fabric on both sides while sewing) and that was done! Here is my spring suit for lili!
She really adopted it so quickly, she slipped it on her pajamas to go to sleep...
